Re-Starting Adult Education - Autumn 2009

We are hoping to introduce some Adult Education activities shortly. Members of the community, (for example Howard, Michele, Janet and David) have been successful in organising activities in previous years and we’d welcome anyone else who would like to help with discussing and planning adult education activities.

Adult Education covers a whole range of ideas - and it needn't be too taxing. It could be holding topical talks or discussions on Jewish themes; perhaps studying texts and commentaries (for example - from the Torah or Talmud); but it could be almost anything else - including learning (or improving) your Hebrew, or looking at Jewish rituals. Please tell us - what would you like to do or learn?

As part of this programme, we are likely to bring in people from outside the community to help run activities for us.

However we need your help and support. Would you consider helping us plan and start a new programme of activities? If so, please send a message to Sue Vice at: adult-ed@shef.ref.co.uk
